DIY Pedicure
Love going to the salon and getting a pedicure, but can’t seem to afford it these days… like me?
Well this is for you.
What you’ll need:
-
A bath towel
-
A large bowl (big enough to fit your feet)
-
Aromatic candles (if you want)
-
Bath Oil (to help soften feet)
-
Nail clippers & file
-
Cotton Balls (or toe seperator)
-
Nail polish remover
-
Pumice stone
-
Foot scrub
-
Peppermint foot lotion (or any lotion really)
1) Set the Mood (if that’s your thing, if not, skip to step 2)
Gather all your tools and organize them on a coffee table next to a comfortable chair. Or whatever you own. Fill the large bowl with hot water and place the bowl in front of your chair. Dim the lights or turn them off completely and get ready to work by candlelight.
2) Soak and Soothe
Remove old nail polish with your polish remover and then clip and file nails. Pour a sweet smelling oil or gel into the water, you can get all sorts for cheap at any drugstore. Soak your feet in the bowl of water for 10-15 minutes. Make sure to take them out before they prune up! Use the pumice stone periodically to help shed your dry skin.
3) Treat Your Feet
Pat your feet dry with your towel and using the nail file smooth any rough edges that you missed before soaking. Apply your lotion. Use cotton balls to separate your toes, (if you have a toe seperator for painting your toes, that works the same). Apply base coat, top coat, prop your feet and relax!
If you try this out, let me know how you liked it!

$ EASY MONEY! $

All you do is read e-mails they send out and other sorts of things. So I reccomend signing up with a new email or an old one you never use. Some of the things you need to pay to sign up to do to make money, but I stay away from those. I’m not paying money to make money!

Celebrity Gossip is the Word
I am a huge fan of being “in the know”. My favorite site for celebrity gossip of all-time is www.tmz.com everything is current (except on the weekends, its just a few posts here and there). They talk about whatever is happening, show celebrities when they were younger and have you guess to see who they are now as adults, lots of polls, videos and photo galleries.
I’m also a fan of http://www.aol.com/?src=aimzones . It pops up as soon as I sign into my AOL instant messenger and has lots of fun info, stories and of course, celebrity gossip.
Every morning I check and see what’s coming new and interesting happening in the world.
