The other day we went to Sam’s Club with a friend who has a membership. It was one of our best investments yet. We stocked up on many items that we will always use and are non-perishable.

Such things like toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, cereal, cereal bars, body wash, deodorant, and gum.

I just recently found out the K-Mart in town is closing so of course I had to stop in. Everything in the store is 10% off or more right now. So I am waiting a few days to stop back in and see what kind of deals I can get. I did stock up on a few items my mom can’t find in her town and a set of sheets I have been eyeing (also since they were a good thread count and there were very few queen sizes left in anything). Make-up is 30% off already so I bought a few things to stock up on and bought a few things to try at a cheaper price.

A local video store is selling used dvd’s so we have been stopping in every so often to check out what they have since new movies keep being put into the sale racks.

I am currently in the market for a new cell phone plan (and cell phone) and with my job I get 25% off every bill from Verizon. Thus, I am switching to Verizon….. Now I just need to pick out a new cell phone which has involved some haggling already and I got the sales girl to agree to a phone I love at a price I love (FREE!). Funny thing is I have already changed my mind and like another phone, but this phone is the same price as the previous phone I wanted so I’m hoping it will apply also, if not, I may have to haggle more….

Instead of buying new hangers for my ever-expanding closet a friend of mine was cleaning her apt because her boyfriend was moving in, this cleared up dresser drawer space for her, leaving her with tons of extra hangers. I spent the entire day helping organize two apartments of things into one apartment and scored some free hangers as well as two homemade meals.
